Same as before. My shining thread was pruned. :( Oh well. If this was moved to another forum and I totally missed it, just let me know. XD

As before, in general this is for the last game you played. Conversation about that game or subtopics are welcome and still "on topic".

Whoo new thread!!11shiftone.

Empire: Total War

I'm not ashamed at all to say I suck at this. I...just can't fight in straight lines. I need irregular troops and ambushes.

Dragon Age: Origins. I'm at the end now, just fighting my way through to the last boss. So far I've only had to call one one of the allies I spent most of the game gathering. >_>

And now you know why I love Bioware. XD

Alpha Protocol.

The story and the choices - while sometimes obvious - are excellent here. Nothing is black and white, and there is no "morality," only responses. It's such a change of pace from other similar games that it's a little jarring... and amazing when it works.

That will likely happen a lot.

Dragon Age: Origins- Awakening

I am currently looking at the plot very skeptically. They better have a darn good reason for what's going on. It also seems like a non-Warden knows about the Joining and I just put someone through the Joining without sending them to get darkspawn blood first. What is Fereldan coming to?

Joe's Adventures, the new Mafia 2 dlc.

It's uh... not good. :| The first mission was really good and atmospheric, with the stealth at the lakeside cabin and the chase on the frozen lake, but right after that it randomly jumps ahead five years to the 1950s summer era... and very many arcadey, rote side missions ensue, much like in the last dlc. Story-driven? Not really, definitely not as much as I was led to believe. And I was looking forward to spending a lot more time in the winter era, but it cuts to the summer era after the first mission.

In summary: I am disappoint.

I wish the 360 controller had 4 bumper buttons then I could use jump and armor abilities with the bumpers.

Well, that would just require two... and Bungie to actually give you the option.
