Several games on my friend's iPad, including Pinball Fantasies (a favorite from my teenage years), and a remake of the fun top-down racing game Death Rally.

Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando.

Favorite of the R&C games. I feel it has the bestest weapons (aside from turning the incredawesome Lava gun into the "Yeh ahm lame" Meteor Gun) and the best sequel upgrades. I like the weapon leveling system of Up Your Arsenal better...but overall, Going Commando is my favorite.

Plus, I can say stuff like that. XD

Borderlands

Been fighting crawmerax like crazy to get good guns and so far i've found a shotgun that does 507 x12 damage, a pearlescent tsunami, and a pearlescent bessie.

Mafia

I started playing the Alive mod again... I forgot how amazing this mod is, as well as punishingly difficult. I started out in the city and managed to find and kill all three gangs, then a statue came alive but it was run over by a trolley car (that probably won't make much sense to those who haven't played the mod :P). I then went into the countryside to hunt down some of the more difficult gangs... I think I killed pretty much all of them (little more than 5) but ended up being picked off by a random sniper, undoing all the progress I had made. :X

Here is a little write up I did on Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet--if you own an Xbox 360, you really should check this one out!

Also if you were a fan of the original Metroid games you will love this!

Yeah its very similar to Metriod but with better art direction (or more modern art direction as its not really a fair comparison). But if you like the feel of the original Metriod games you will LOVE ITSP.

I love the art of that game. I'm thinking about getting it sometime.

Also last game was Borderlands. This has to be my favorite game. Ever. Theres so much to do and then you get to multiplayer and theres even more to do. It's just awesome. I can't think of many gripes with it besides the terrible ending. Also its being reported that Gearbox is about to announce Borderlands 2 recently and its gonna come out in 2012.

You definitely should get it--in fact I would recommend almost all of the Summer of Arcade games this summer--particularly Bastion, that game is fantastic!

I really enjoyed Borderlands--I thought it was WAY more fun to play in co-op with other people though--so much so that when my friends quit playing, I did too.
