So I've been running the Hoard of the Dragon Queen for my IRL D&D group and they are LOVING it. The module itself is good but the 5th Edition rules are very good.

With that in mind, coupled with the availability of the 5th Edition rules free online, I was thinking that it might be the perfect vehicle for another foray into our Roll20 game.

That, and ArchAngel put it out there and I took it as a challenge :D

That being said, is anyone else interested in trying this? I would continue to DM as before, and I'd run that same module since it's with a different crowd.

I would be interested in this, but I would need a primer on Roll20/how we would play it. Assume I know nothing. :P

I don't suppose you'd let a total noob join would you? the last D&D game I played was arche's zombie game...
but hey if you wouldn't mind helping me with some of the rules and such I'd be willing to play

You can create new characters or convert your existing ones to 5th Edition if you prefer.

For those of you guys who want to take a look at the rules, check out the free online version here.

And LAC: New players are ALWAYS welcome. :)

For those not familiar with Roll20... It's basically a website with video chat and map resources so that people can play over the Web as if they were sitting together at the table. You create a free account and can log into our campaign and see the maps and whatever other visual resources the DM adds to it. We found the video chat a little wonky so we wound up using Google Hangouts instead, but it all worked together fine.

I'm interested... but I'm afraid it'll turn out like last time, and I'll be consistently late, if I show up at all. That's the problem with time zone differences and work schedules. :?

If I lose my job or quit, I'll let you know. Otherwise, I'll have to sadly pass as well.

I'll roll up a guy and try to drop in when time permits. Hopefully, I can make it once every few sessions... If I could do mobile, I could probably make every session.

I'm totally interested, depending on timezone and my availability (if you'll accept a lurker to these boards joining).
