This past week my wife and I announced our new game, and I wanted to share it here too!

It's called Panda and Penguin's Puzzle Adventure, and the hope is it will launch this July.



It's got 50+ levels and the plan is to add more later as free DLC. Will be available on Apple and Android app stores. Hope you guys will check it out! I'll post when it actually releases, but I'm excited it's getting closer to the big day. (Well, still like a month, but hey, that's not THAT long.)

It's a little fuzzy because we were finishing our first game as we started on this one, but I think about two months? I believe official work started on this in April as we wrapped up The Death of Mr. Fishy.

I was hoping we could finish by June, but July seems more reasonable as a deadline.

We've been doing full time game development since January. Hopeful this can turn into something that will support us, otherwise it will be back to "real" jobs in 2019! Either way, it's been a blast working together every day.

By the way, this released yesterday!

You can download it on the Google Play Store or Apple iTunes, if you're looking for a fun free game to spend a few minutes on. It's a pretty short game, so no huge time commitment.

I'm just curious, how are you able to get it onto the App Store and Google Play Store?

Well the technical end is handled by my wife, but the process goes: Make a developer account (if it's not your personal name, you have to create an LLC or official company and register stuff), pay them their fee (Android and Apple are both different, I think it's $25 and $99 respectively), and then submit your game to be approved/rejected. If it's rejected, you fix what needs fixed and resubmit. Along with all the stuff like making screenshots for the store and such. It's kind of a pain in the butt, but hey, it's what needs done to get stuff out there!
