I didn't consider it tight enough. But then I'm perfectly happy with the tiny dot from a Halo sniper rifle.
Once I was amusing myself by sniping the snipers off with my award rifle on BattleFront II.

Countersniping on AA is fun. Unless he spots you first - and shoots first - and hits first.

And lots of it too.
On the Bridge map, getting behind the tower and shooting snipers on the stairs through that narrow gap between the ladder and the tower is a breeze.

I think it was Halo 2's Relic where I was sitting at one base with a team mate, pulling headshots on any hostiles I saw. That was fun.

I hated my friend sniping there. I ended up using the Plas pistol Battle Rifle combo to take him down there cause I couldn't any other way...

It does sound like that.
The good thing about being on the tower is that rocket propelled grenades don't usually hit you... but alot of other stuff will.

Hehee.... I've had people think I was using a sniper on them because I drilled them so quickly in the head with a BR.

That's why the BR is so amazing.
I hate Battlefront II though...

I use the BR and Carbine a lot. The sniper rifles as well, but I'm not as consistent with them at close range as I would like. Though I've given several surprises to people who run up to me while I have it out.

Yeah, I remember once - I was carrying an M24(sniper rifle), lying on the tower.
This enemy soldier came climbing up the ladder, I spun around and nailed him through the chest with one shot - without any crosshair.
Yeah... then some nut tossed a grenade up there and I got blown to pieces.

I've gotten headshots with the sniper on Halo 2, guy about five feet away. Several in a row, on occasion.
