"Fall of Elven Snow" <- Overlooked Identity

Yeah, it's the song I'm working on. Sad, huh? I cannot get this violin melody out of my head. I'll post my current work on my purevolume site (there's a link in my signature).

I know what it feels like to have your own song stuck in your head because in my new song, the MIDI data for the arpeggios at the beginning wouldn't play unless you started the playback at the beginning. :x I probably had to listen to that song at least 30 times while recording the individual parts, eqing and compressing, arranging the actual song, mastering, the mixdown, etc. And NOW I'm making an ambient mix, so more listenings ensue! :x :x :x
The reason I bring this up is because, well...

New song, huh? Sweet. I'll have to listen to it in a little bit. I'm working on getting a good recording of Another Day (my guitar song) done. Maybe I'll get a better version of the song up today or tomorrow (with vocals, which are only partially written).

"Fractions" <- Emery (Acoustic)

Amazing song, and it keeps getting stuck in my head.

To say I have a band isn't exactly accurate. It's a bit more like, "Xian has a musical inclination and access to music creation tools."

How 'bout "Xian produces music using some instruments and a copy of GarageBand"? More specific, I would suppose.

BTW, @newcement:if you're solo, no way you're a band.

You win.

"Tension" <- Radioactive Watermelon

I like the very driving beat and atmospheric sounds.

Yes, I agree with you. I just was lacking a better word...so I said "band".

Alright back on topic.

Kudos to whoever can tell me who this song is referring to (if anyone). A "warrior poet"?

That makes sense actually. How did I not come up with that?

USG <- +10 Kudos.

I thought that "kudos" was like a nutrient bar or something. Oh well.

It's actually William Wallace that they're referring to. Someone e-mailed them and asked them about it and they responded saying that the song was actually about William Wallace from Braveheart. Anyone remember the scene where he "revs" up his fellow Scotsmen?

So, yeah, there you go.

"Shine" <--- Jonah33

How long's it been now,
Since I called you by name,
Since I felt your presence in the midst of all my pain,
How long's it been now,
That I tried it all my own way,
I need to be broken, so I look to you and say,
Make me shine

And, btw, it's cool to see another person listening to Classic Crime...
