On the contrary side of things,

Kids - MGMT

No, I promise it wasn't some cowardly simple chord version. Still insanely easy.

Savannah - Relient K

Love the way this song sounds, and it surprises me that I'm actually able to play it because, you know, I suck.

"Hall of the Mountain King"---Savatage.

It's far to hard to find an accurate tab of this, so I had to improvise most of it.....it sounded horrible. v_v

Deep's right... the rhythm is... odd.

"Iron Man" by Black Sabbath.

Easy song. Even the solo is within my abilities.

I owe Deep like...part of my liver or sommat for showing me this song. It's epic. XD

It's fun to play, but just....tricky to nail at first.

Hmm...Fine. Contact my manager. >_>

I played "A Tout le monde" by Megadeth. Not, sadly, as good as it could be. But I love the song, so...I'll learn. It's actually not that hard. Even the solo. It's also awesome enough to at least turn a face semi liquidish, though not melt it.

Not to be "that guy"...but I think I like Megadeth more than Metallica. >_>

Nothing wrong with saying that, because it's the truth. Megadeth IS Better than metallica.

"Into the Coven"---Mercyful Fate.

Easy, and eerie.

Played "Alligator Crawl" by Fats Waller on a piano. That was fun, if not a bit...tricky in some parts. XD Sounds a bit like music that would be played in a saloon...

Fats Waller is that sort of music, isn't it though?

I can't really remember, 'cept a few years ago my dad got a CD of his music and we all ended up hating it. I'd probably like it now, but yeah.

Anyway, it was probably Seattle - Classic Crime

Despite only being chords, I feel accomplished in the fact that the ultimate-guitar tab was completely wrong, and I took it upon myself to perfect it.

Well, Fats Waller would be considered a stride pianist, and iirc stride was a style that originated from older ragtime that would be played in a saloon. Fats Waller played mainly in the 30s and early 40s, though. Maybe it's just that alligator crawl reminds me of Scott Joplin's The Entertainer. It helps to be playing on a honky tonk sounding piano. XD

I can see how Fats Waller could be a bit of an... Acquired taste, though.

I like that song. I also like the fact I'm not the only one who uses UG.

I played "House of the Rising Sun" and did a good jorb, if I do say so myself. It's...kinda hard to mess up a song that easy though. XD It's not like it's a pride issue.

Either way, it's one of the epics. Overlooked, nowadays.
