I just picked up Straight Outta Lynnwood today.
I think the best song is Weasel Stomping Day.

Wow. The blend between the African drums, the Egyptian reed whistle and the trance is INCREDIBLE. This will definitely be on my favourite CD list for a LONG time... I was totally blown away by the sounds... :D

Glad to here I'm not the only one who likes trance :).

Last CD I bought was Relient K's mmhmm, and that was ages ago cause I'm always broke from buying hardware.[/uselesshardwaregeek]

I didn't buy it, but I got the "New and Used Hits" Apologetix CD. AWESOME PARODIES! Unfortuately, it doesn't have the "crazy Train" parody, but it has freakin' AWESOME SONGS! Like: Its Tough(parody of this love, by Maroon 5), Back Intact(parody of Back in Black W000000t!!!), Kick in the Wall(parody of "Another brick in the wall, AWESOME SONG!), Life Restored(parody of "last Resort" papa roach), Welcome to the judges(parody of welcome to the jungle by Guns n Roses), Santa Claus(parody of Panama by VAN HALEN!!!!!), Corinthians
(arody of "In the End" by Linkin Park),Bethlehemian Rhapsody
Parody of "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen, The Real Sin Savior
Parody of "The Real Slim Shady" by Eminem, AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST! NARROW WAY TO HEAVEN, PARODY OF STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN BY LED ZEPPELIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FREAKIN' AWESOME CD! (I want to give credit to my dad for spending 25$ on it THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!)

I got Derb's In Africa VINYL! GO RECORDS!

I seriously love that song. The remixes were awesome too, but it doesn't match up to the original! Derb's songs should be, like, a trance anthem! They sound like it! Have any of you heard Derb by Derb?

I checked them out on YouTube. Too Much metal, not enough drums, unfortunately...

Now Safri Duo, Their "Baya Baya" song on Episode II, the blend between the trance and the xylophones/drums/singing was incredibly blended, not at all just favouring one side and having the other side reduced. They are AMAZING!
