Although cliche, I'm sticking with Star Wars. The originals are responsible for a good fourth of my childhood memories.

Other Favorites would be:
Sweeny Todd
Watchmen
The Prestige

I don't have a specific "Fav Movie", but I do have a favorite Sci-Fi, Action/Adventure, Drama, and Horror Movies.

These are in that order: Star Trek(2009), Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Apollo 13, and Deep Blue Sea(1999)

Very hard to choose one. I have a huge list of favorite movies, the top mostly being Tarantino. However, my favorite at the moment is probably Midnight In Paris. I relate to it more than I've related to any film in a long time.

^ I really did enjoy Midnight In Paris. Have you watched any of Woody Allen's other work? I haven't seen a lot of it since there's so much and it's apparent hit or miss quality, but I liked Annie Hall and I recently saw The Purple Rose of Cairo which shares some of Midnight in Paris' surreal qualities and is very well done.

Some of my favorite movies include -

Rushmore
Waiting for Guffman
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
The Princess Bride
The Lord of the Rings
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World

I am going to change subject for a bit.

Scariest movie(I've seen): The Village. Not that scary now, but when I saw it for the first time, it freaked me out. Movies don't really scare me any more.

Darkest movie(once again, I've seen): Taken. Pretty dang dark.

Coolest movie: Iron Man.

Brightest movie: Radio. That movie made me happy.

Awesomest movie/s: Lord of the Ring Trilogy

Streets of Fire - A movie that some could consider to be an unknown, but was instramental in shaping anime in the 1980's. Those have have seen Bubblegum Crisis (the original) and it's like will understand exactly what I mean. Also, had some great actors and I could never forget that hybrid era of two rememberable times.

Transformers the Movie (animated) - Don't know about anyone who loved else who loved Transformers G1 at some point or still does, but nothing else really compared for me. It had a great story and had a great soundtrack to boot! Plus I have to say that the special anniversery edition is sweet.

Star Wars (the originals) - These movies were also instramental in shaping my childhood, so I could relate in calling them my favorites. The stories were great, not fantastic, but fun to enjoy.

Tron - This movie was especially instramental in shaping my love for science fiction special effects. Great soundtrack, actors, and graphics to boot!

Super Mario Brothers - I enjoyed this movie, and just to spite the internet community, I am listing it as my favorite. It was ten times better then what most give it credit for. Atleast the princess doesn't have stockholm syndrome in the movie, unlike the one in the video games.

Scariest movie: The Shining. I watched it with two other grown men with the lights on and we still couldn't finish it in one sitting. I don't watch scary movies much.

Darkest movie: Dark City. It even has dark in the title. Pretty darn dark.

Coolest movie: Reservoir Dogs. Just saw this for the first time recently. What a film.

Brightest movie: The Darjeeling Limited. It doesn't quite fit the category in terms of theme, but you can't go wrong with Wes Anderson if you're looking for bright colors.

Awesomest movie/s: Cliche, but The Avengers. That's the last movie in theaters that I saw that I felt the 'oh my goodness, this is epic' feeling throughout.

and I will add,

Funniest movie: This is tough because comedy is one of my favorite genres because of it's rewatchability, but personally, I would have to go with I Love You, Man.

Most disturbing: Being John Malkovich or Se7en. Two different levels of disturbing, but oh well.
