Terminator Salvation was pretty good, I liked how they paid homage to Arnold

Yeah. I heard about that. I just wish that he himself had've been in it.

Night Train

A no name movie that's actually turning out pretty good... dealing wholly with human greed and depravity.

Also, I'm pretty much in love with Leelee Sobieski.

Yes.

The Day After Tomorrow

It was an alright movie when it wasn't being an environmentalist preacher.

Sherlock Holmes

Well, I think the trailers made this movie out to be something completely different.

It was a great movie, with a great representation of Holmes by Robert Downey Jr.

Only qualms were probably the quickness of Holmes to get into a fight, but that couldn't ruin the movie.

Terminator Salvation has another lead, and he's relatively new. Sam Worthington (he also stars in Avatar) is pretty awesome and saves the movie from being crap.

Just the same... I rather liked Salvation. I think it's because I went in with bad expectations after T3... and came out pleasantly surprised. :)
We just got this from Netflix. Gonna watch it tomorrow after football, probably. :D

The Importance of Being Earnest - A nice little rendition of a fantastic play.

The Usual Suspects - I hate when major plot twists are ruined for me beforehand, but it didn't hinder my enjoyment of this film at all. Excellent movie.

District 9..... Why this movie was nominated for a Golden Globe is beyond me. I almost turned it off halfway through the film, but I didn't, hoping it would redeem itself.... Which it never did.

The Bad: The story sucked, it was needlessly gory and had a crappy ending.

The Good: The actors were pretty good, the music was good, and the special effects were outstanding.

Final verdict - D-

For the love of all things good in this world, nobody watch this movie.

For the record, I strongly disagree with him.

District 9 was a triumph of storytelling.

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

The movie was horrible.

I liked how it was filmed, and I liked how it portrayed everything that was going on, but in the end, it wasn't any good.

Watched in 3D. My 2 younger brothers didn't care too much for it, but this sucker was rock solid. Plenty of cool moments, the visuals rocked, and I enjoyed the story/characters. Better than the Dark Knight methinks. >.>
