With the permission of IREM SOFTWARE ENGINEERING INC., Granzella is now developing the latest title of the side-scrolling shooter "R-Type" series to bring it out to the world. However, we are just a small, powerless studio so we decided to launch a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign to accomplish the project.

The Kickstarter campaign starts at the same time around the world. The estimated launch times for each world time zones are as follows:

Backer Rewards :
We would like to offer a sneak peek at some of the backer rewards.
There are 14 types of rewards, including digital or physical copies of the game, a hardcover art book, soundtracks, original T-shirts, and the right to put your name on staff credits, and so on. Some of these rewards are combined and available in 14 reward tiers.
Prices start at about $40 for a digital copy of the game for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Xbox One, or Steam.
The top tier is $2500, where your name will be heard in-game!
"R-Type Final 2" Game Overview:
R-TYPE FINAL 2 is the latest title of the long-standing side-scrolling shooter game “RTYPE” series, which was created in 1987. The concept is the "deepening of R-TYPE" and "evolution of side-scrolling shooting".
There are some variations of player fighters which can be selected by the player. Depending on which fighter the player chooses, the equipped Wave Cannon (which charges energy by keeping the shooting button pressed and fires powerful beam) and Force (an unmanned unit that protects against the enemy's bullets in cooperation with the player fighter and fires powerful laser beams) which are available to the player will vary. Also, the player can increase the choice of fighters by meeting certain conditions. In addition, the "Real-time Level Function" automatically adjusts the difficulty level according to players' skill and ability in shooter games. The difficulty level is displayed on the screen so that the players can check their scores in real-time. The higher the difficulty level, the more scores the player gets. Players who are not familiar with R-TYPE games can set a cap on the difficulty level to avoid gameplays that are too difficult and play according to their level.
The stages that appeared in the earlier work will come back with new expressions and interpretations. It is our mission to make R-TYPE FINAL 2 unforgettable for those who have played, and what is more, we would like to create an R-TYPE that is better than any other R-TYPE titles.
