It's a post-apocalyptic novel by Walter M. Miller, Jr. that follows the rebuilding of civilization in 600 year intervals and particularly touches on the relationship of the Church and Society over this time, clearly paralleling the cultural relationship between the church and society over our own history. Very good read and while clearly written from the perspective of a Christian and Catholic, it makes a very honest and apt analogy.

I was curious if any of you have read and and what were your thoughts?

ArcticFox, if you haven't read it yet, I think it's right up your alley.
