Trying to make myself enjoy Hemingway. :P

It's mostly getting used to short sentences of his minimalist (if that is the right word) style that make it jarring to read for someone who, well, rarely reads.

I'm currently reading The Woman Warrior by Maxine Hong Kingston. Interesting stuff, but I wouldn't really recommend it to everyone.

Currently reading "Weird: because normal isn't working" by Craig Groeschel.

It's a challenging book on how many Christians are in the world and seem to be of the world. Many of us live as the rest of the world lives even though we are called to be in the world but not of it. It challenges you on reevaluating the things that you do and the priorities on which you organize your life.

You have my condolences.

Yeah, I'm not super into it so far, but I'm hoping it'll get better. It is for a class, and I'm super excited for some of the books that we get to read later.

I finished My Antonia and also read Ghostbread by Sonja Livingston. Now I'm reading The Sun Also Rises by none other than Hemingway himself.
