I like spearmint, minty without the "burn" or "sting".
But to aid a cough, i'd rather go for a tea with honey or a milk with honey and neither of those should be hot, just warm, to sooth not scorch.
Speaking of which, i should do that, coz i have a cough that just don't want to let go of me and a slightly sore throat every morning for no reason whatsoever.

That's funny, since it tends to be the other way around over here, especially in mints and such. Spearmint burns, and peppermint is weak. XD
