I can't promise we won't be eating plaster. It looks an awful lot like powdered sugar when it's unset.
Two-day shipping that takes a week?

Yeah. When I buy something from Amazon and USPS is involved, it takes forever to arrive. Thanks, guys. -__-

I was sitting fine the other day, until I was required to lean forward at an odd angle. -_- That's all I'ma say.
So, if you were to get into a miniature game, which one would you pick?

Probably Warhammer 40k. I love the gothic art styling paired with a very high-tech feel (admit it: Space Marines are pretty durn cool). I dabbled in it ever so briefly, but I didn't spend too much money on it, because school. lol

SPESS MAHRINES. I love dem. <3 But my gaming preference is Warmachine, by Privateer Press. Steampunk + medieval + giant robots = me being happy.
That said, at least in my area, it's much easier to find someone to play 40K with.
Also, Tyranids.
Movement systems in board games: Left up to a die roll, or based upon a statistic?

I prefer statistic, though I'm ok with having a roll determine it if the situation is unusual (flying through thick fog, climbing a mountain, etc). Consistency makes it easy to strategize.

I'm leaning towards statistic, with a side of penalties for running.

Release them!
Gotta say though, while the Kraken as such may be fictional, there is something creepily otherworldly about cephalopods. They look like creatures not of this world.

Mayhaps. I'm not hugely fond of sea critters in general...too much teeth, not a good way to get away. O_o

I always really liked Cherry. Though I recall one of the green flavors wasn't too bad.

I have the PS3 version with Ico, I just never got around to playing it.
It looks really good, though.
