I really want a copy of it. I'm don't get paid until Thursday though, so I don't know if I'll be able to find a copy. But I like the looks and atmosphere and such.
Plus, it's always been a dream of mine to go out like that; one-on-thousands in an alien space ship with super powered armor.
World engines?

With world engines you always have to consult the manual before use.

And probably beware the living undead metal.

So how do you feel about Baldur's Gate, Planescape: Torment, and Neverwinter Nights?

I've heard they're good but I didn't play them. Icewind Dale was the latest D&D game I've played. Before that, it was Pools of Radiance, Curse of the Azure Bonds, Hillsfar, etc. I did play a little Baldur's Gate I but it didn't feel like D&D.

Planescape: Torment is a really good game. It's not the most outstanding example of computerized D&D though, as it is primarily focused on the narrative. Worth playing, but worth knowing what you're getting into.
Neverwinter Nights is one I picked up again after having it for almost 10 years (Yeah....), and so far it seems to be a really good computerization of D&D 3.0. All the main features are there, including the relative uselessness of Wizards at low level. Learning this the hard way, lol.

Yeah one of the reasons Icewind Dale was my last foray in to computerized D&D was that I believe that was also the last time they used the 2nd Edition rules.

Dude... Deep's question reminded me about it and I'm actually sad that I have plans to go to the gaming store tonight, and D&D night is tomorrow, so it'll be at least Saturday before I can really dig into it...
