Well, I see the series has lost popularity, but hands down one of the best tactical shooters I have ever played. The only game that would
be able to beat the feel of the game, would be a sequel. I got caught by the gripping story line and the emotional soundtrack.

It is the one game that just felt worth playing, though it isn't a true story, it depicts the authentic WW2 scenario very well. It also shows that war involves more than just killing. I recommend watching Band of Brothers if you also like the game, wow, great mini-series. You can relate a few characters(from the game) to the series, there are a few parallels like Dale Dye doing the voice of Colonel Robert Sink in Hell's Highway and acting as Colonel Robert F. Sink in band of brothers.

So...who else loves this game!?

I have the one on DS, which is basically unrelated in all but name.

Still fun though. Never got a chance to try the console version.

I played the demos for the first two. Seemed like a nice blend of action and tactical squad gameplay. Might pick them up some time.

There was a fourth BiA announced at E3 this year: Furious 4. But it has NOTHING to do with any of the other BiA games. Instead they decided to make it into an over-the-top, dark humor game. Suffice it to say, many fans of the series are not happy. Can't say I blame them.
