I don't play it. In fact, I don't think I've ever given a Civilisation game a shot.

I didn't realize there was the alternate spelling for civilization; thanks for point that out. My bad.
The game's title is written with a Z, but I was being unnecessarily nazi about it. Where's the honour in that?

Civ 5 does not give the level of satisfaction 4 gave.

Moving on, I've only played Civ. Revolution on the 360 and DS. Good games, but I'm not big on strategy games.

The people are; I'm not. I'm the only one who criticized your spelling and there was a total of 2 posts about your multiple misspellings(arguable) of the same word.
I didn't mention the other 10+ errors in your 1ish sentence.

Just relax, bro. (And proofread, too.)

It is common among those who play the Civ games, that Civ IV is better then Civ V. Some hate the AI, honestly... I liked both. Civ V is politically correct though, as far as I know.

Same for me, I like both IV and V a lot.
Not so much for III, but Civ II was an old favorite of mine.

Alot of people prefer Civ 4 over 5 because it isn't as simple-minded. I and some I know do like it.

I really enjoy Civ IV, but the combat can be problematic. What's worse is that it's hard to play a pacifistic game on anything other than the easiest AI setting. Civ V does work to make the combat more interesting. I like the new system, in theory anyway. I'm hoping that the upcoming expansion (Gods and Kings) will help add back some of the depth lost in other areas (most notably adding back religion).

FYI there is a free weekend of Civ V on Steam starting right now. It's also on sale for $7.49 on Steam and Gamer's Gate. Personally will wait for the GotY edition to drop in price a little more before buying (currently $12.49), or some future edition that includes all the DLC plus Gods and Kings.

I actually have CIV 5, but I want to get the one with all the DLC.
