Drakengard 1 and 2. For PlayStation 2. The answer to your question.

White Knight Chronicles 2. You can customize you character pretty well. Along with you creating your own Knight, which you can summon in times you need it most. IT also has both the second game AND the remastered version, meaning you get 2 games on 1 disc. I rented it from GameFly. Waiting for it to get here.

There are more, but these are all fairly good in one way or another. My advice, go for New Vegas : Ultimate Edition, if you don't mind language and blood.

Paper Mario was fun for me, but there may have been a reference in there in one of the side quests.

I would recommend Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door.
It is a great game that takes a while to beat. It is for the Nintendo Gamecube but if you have the Wii you can use that too because the Wii is compatible with playing Gamecube disks.

Just came to see who necro-posted. I like this thread because I can use it as a reference to see what's good.
I second JOJ's KH recommendation. I just finished KH 3D (awesome game btw). Fallout: New Vegas is lots of fun, but beware of Gomorrah.
