Sooooo... my brother picked up Origins today. I've only gotten to play a little so far, but I'm already becoming a fan.

I wish I had more to say, but I have so little to go off of.

Oh... but Inon Zur did the soundtrack... and I'm in love with it. <3

PS3. :P

And, so far, I'm loving this game. It's had me hooked from the beginning.

I'm a few hours in (note: Kenny hours = 1.5 everyone elses hours due to completionist tendencies), but yeah.

Personally, I like the combat system. It's very Guild Wars-ish... with console-isms thrown in.

Playing a Dwarf Noble of the Warrior persuasion. /winz

I've not played the console, but I think it would be a lot harder due to the lack of a pause and order function and overhead camera. Then again, I did hear they dumbed it down a bit for consoles. Not sure if that holds true for the PS3 though.

With the console I assume you're more likely to control just your character (or your melee party member). So I suppose good tactic setup is actually important. With the PC it was almost a handicap if you had any attacking tactics they'd generally switch targets and run across the battle. Also seems like the entire Primal magic tree would be somewhat useless- couldn't do anything without bombing party members.

Any recommendations for choosing a class?
I am partial to the mage but I was told they are over-powered, I also want to try my hand at a rogue, Any suggestions?

I loved this game, but the second felt a little dumbed down. Hopefully the third will be more like the first.

For the record, bumping dead threads over 6 months of age is frowned upon. :D But welcome to the forums nonetheless.
