So this game is only 12 days away, yet there is no thread. :( Anyone excited about it? The TGS vids I saw look really sweet and I've been wanting a good 3-D Castlevania since I played the first DMC. This looks the game that finally does it for me.

Eeeeeeeeek. Hyyyyyyyyype.

Kinda. Still worried it's gonna turn out like a gothic-themed God of War.

I'm not a fan of the God of War games (or at least the first never played the others). However I liked the one Castlevania game I played. Also had to use cheats to finish Metroid Zero Mission >_>.

However, I will say that the video I saw looked pretty enough.

Even the original Lords of Shadow trailer was phenomenal. I'll definitely agree to and say that.

Oh man. Drew showed me the TGS or something trailer last night. It was mindblowing.

Kojima's written all over it. O.o

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

Played the demo. It's awesome. Basically, it felt like a Gothic-themed God of War that was heavily cinematic. If that appeals to you, and the borderline occultic material doesn't turn you away, you'll probably like it.

Grab a demo. See for yourself.

Yeah I DL'd the demo my post. I didn't like the art style, and that usually turns me away from a game. :( I would have preferred a more anime style like the DS games.

I adore Symphony of the Night. One of my all-time favorite games. Not gonna lie, I was more than a little hesitant about the shift toward action and away from Metroidvania design philosophy. Somehow, though, despite being a totally different game... I found myself really wanting more.

All that to say, I sympathize with it not being what I wanted. That said, I still really want it.
