Hey everyone. I know I am fairly new and that you don't know a whole lot about me yet, but I could use some prayer. I've been having a really hard time with my schooling lately. I just started a new semester, and I feel like I'm already getting burnt out. I'm still keeping up with grades through God's grace, but I can feel it's definitely taking a toll on my body and brain. I get these massive waves of exhaustion, followed by a horrible feeling of my old depression trying to rise back up from the darkness. Again, I would really appreciate the support.

Thanks,
Triv

You can trust us, Triv! I also have problems with depression and anxiety. I often think I am doing worse in school than I actually am. If you ask God for help, and keep asking, He will transform you! Praying for ya, man! :D

Ask Amoeba is now officially defunct. Sorry :(

Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.

First of all, welcome to the forums!

I can relate - as can many other students. University is tough. I find myself feeling perpetually stressed and anxious, leading to disparaging thoughts, lack of sleep, and resulting in foul language. It's only through God's grace that I've made it where to where I am now, and that no matter how the day plays out, I can always come to Him in prayer. It's been a difficult process learning to manage my emotions, balance my time, and trust in God's plan for my life, but I'm working on making a little progress every day.

Keeping you in my prayers!
