For a week now my right jaw joint below my ear has been hurting me. It's not going away so I'm going to see a doctor tomorrow. Please pray it's nothing serious and that they can figure out what it is. IT hurts to eat, sneeze and yawn. ;(

Tmj? Praying!

**EDIT
I wanted to add that I had this issue a while back and I discovered the cause was the way I was sleeping with my mouth hanging all open and stuff. Hope it's something simple and not serious!

Doctor thinks it's TMJ from the crown I had put in on the other side of my mouth a few months back. He said to take round the clock IB profin and see my dentist if it doesn't get better in a week.

Praying for you. Does sound like TMJ. I have it and found relief via a custom-made mouth guard I use when sleeping.

That's the treatment my orthodontist prescribed :P something about achieving a more or less constant blood level to achieve the best antiinflammatory response. (I mean, he gave me jaw exercises and stretches, too, but yeah :P)

Anyway, glad to hear you're feeling better. Jaw pain is--well, a pain.
My name is ChickenSoup and I have several flavors in which you may be interested
