Since moving to take a new job I've been getting sick way too often. I know new place = new germs and I need to build immunity but this is getting ridiculous.

Pray that I can get healthy and then stay that way. :)

It's been a week and I'm still hacking up lungs and keeping everyone in the household awake. Not good! On a slightly happier note most of family is now sick with me! We're going through NyQuil like crazy!

Protip: any med with a cough suppressant in it will probably lengthen your time with a cough, as it just suppresses it. Get an expectorant like Mucinex or the generic version--it gets the gunk out instead of keeping you from coughing it out. :)

Nice protip! I only use it when I need sleep and lately between coughing and having our one month old waking me up every couple of hours all I really need is some good sleep :) i will look into that mucinex though.
