Re: What was the last movie you watched?

I Heart Huckabees - An existential comedy indeed. David O. Russell's farce feels much longer than it actually is, but does manage to explore some on-the-surface philosophy in interesting ways. In certain ways it feels like a lesser Charlie Kaufman piece, but that would be a disservice to the cast, ...

Reading portions of Dubliners by James Joyce, just finished Holidays on Ice by David Sedaris, and am tentatively beginning Freedom by Jonathan Franzen.

Re: Guitar Hero and the Real Thing

you know its easier to learn a song on a real guiter then the same song on the hardest difficulty of guitar hero Debatable and highly subjective statement. IIRC, with Guitar Hero, you're worried about pressing six buttons (the five colors and the picking action), through which your one and only job...

The death of Snails in Dungeons & Dragons. (Was kinda glad, actually.)
People watching that movie were crying for a different reason.

Haha, that's true.

Did I mention I have a space bow-tie I got from Bill Nye?
True story.
You can't just say true story and then not tell the story....that's awesome!!!!

Re: Ken Ham to debate Bill Nye on creationism

This has been all over my Facebook feed. Kinda surprised Nye agreed to it, but it looks like they'll both make out with some nice bank afterwards. Same, although I'm almost positive that there was one person on my feed who excitedly reported that Nye was going to argue for creationism. http://25.me...

I wasn't aware there was more than one. Which is sad. I hate it when movies get direct-to-DVD sequels.

Re: Favorite CHRISTMAS movie.

I'm the same way, I can't hardly stand him in most things because he yells all the time and it doesn't particularly make things funnier. Stranger than Fiction was enjoyable and yell-free. He's not really in Zoolander that much either, and his character is more absurd than immature.

Re: Looking for a Christian browser MMO

Where did you ever get the idea that tolkien based his work off the bible? He was an athiest. Both of those claims are totally off-base. It's fairly widely known that Tolkien was the one to convert C.S. Lewis to Christianity, however, it's disputed whether he was still a believer at his death-bed.

Re: Favorite CHRISTMAS movie.

I think I might appreciate now that I'm a little older, but at the time it was unwelcome stupidity. I thought Elf was terrible when I originally saw it in theaters but my opinion on it has softened quite a bit. You know what silly Christmas movie I really liked? Jingle All the Way. "PUHHHT THAT COOK...

I don't have GTA V or an Xbox 360, but that sounds awesome.

I want it so badly.

Re: Favorite CHRISTMAS movie.

No flips.

Zoolander was an excellent movie.

Also, I've never liked A Christmas Story. Just wanted to put that out there.
