Currently working through Tim Keller's book called Preaching.

It's about preaching. Shocker, right?

Good list, and always helpful to keep such things in focus! :)

Re: Evangelizing in Video games

How you act in (online) games is a bit part of witnessing, which is the backbone of evangelizing. That's a good place to start. Being positive and filling others with the spirit helps to showcase you as a light on a hill, and people are looking for that light. From there, pointing to God is an easie...

Re: Reasons to get up in the morning?

I think we've all been there, so what you're talking about it pretty normal. You can also do personal work to better yourself. Play an instrument? Make it a goal to practice for 20 minutes first thing upon waking up. Don't play an instrument? Get an instrument, ha ha! You never know when even a tiny...

Re: What was the last game you played?

Played some Tetris/Puyopop for Switch yesterday. My wife is playing it mostly, but if there's a level she can't beat (which is almost always Puyo, she's better than me at Tetris) then I jump in and tag team a win so she can keep going in Story Mode.

Re: How many American atheists are there really?

In my personal view, genuine atheists are more rare than you might think. Many of the people who call themselves atheists really do believe in God deep down, but claim otherwise either because they want to fit in with the groups they've chosen to associate with or they have some personal anger wher...

Re: Acoustic Guitar + Power Tools = Awesome

I have a guitar, and that drill, but I think this is outside my wheelhouse, lol! The thing to really keep in mind is that, while that is creative and amazing, it is the skill at playing the instrument BEHIND the bells and whistles (drill, in this case) that is truly astounding. That guy knows what h...

I'm really happy they kept the price low. The other nifty thing is apparently you'll have access to at least some VC games for "free" as long as you're a subscriber. (I say "free" because you're already paying, but it IS a nice bonus!) Only a little over a week until E3! Can't wait to see what Ninte...

Re: Bema Seat and hours spent playing video games

We're all going to be held accountable for everything we do here. It's going to be rough on that day, to be sure. God will love us through it all, but I can imagine few worse feelings than literally being in His presence as the parts of our lives we didn't live up to our best selves are worked throu...

CRCBrony Post Above ^^^
Well said.

I was going to recommend Mr. Robot, but maybe instead check out The Story of God with Morgan Freeman. It's a good learning-but-still-entertaining show and broadens the scope of spiritual knowledge. :)

Re: Soon....

They sell these things now, they're like boxes made of plastic and metal and they keep all the parts of a computer secure in one place!

It's pretty cool, you should check it out.

Re: Nintendo Switch

No, its legitimate. Here's what Mario Wiki says "Following the leak, official sources at Ubisoft confirmed the authenticity of the project and provided further images of the title." And here's the source that Mario Wiki used to go with that statement. http://comicbook.com/gaming/2017/05/23/mario-ra...
