Praises for medical results

My mother had some scary things show up in a recent medical exam, and today found out it was not cancerous. While I know God has it all in His hands regardless, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't happy and relieved of this result instead of something more life-threatening. We all know how this part of ...

Re: Today I learned...

TOday I learned that a Wacom tablet can be so annoying
I hear that!
Today I learned that writing comments on Facebook is a long, terrible, laborious process that is far too hard to subject the common man to.

*eye twitch*
I hear that, too! Facebook is a blessing and a curse, lol.

Thanks for sharing it! More scripture in our lives is always a good thing. :) It is appreciated.

Re: my dad is sick

You bet. My father had the same, from years of smoking, and it eventually took his life. I miss him, but am thankful for the time we had together and am confident I'll see him again. Know you're not alone, and we'll be praying for you, your dad, and the family!

Re: Prayer Request

Absolutely. It's never easy, but when it's a child it sometimes feels so much harder. I cry out "Why, Lord?" and though I get answers, I still hate that it happens. This world is hard and dark. Will be praying for the family, church, and everyone involved.

Re: I need help! Doubts?

I think everyone has doubts, but sometimes they can be overwhelming, so I'm sorry if you're feeling that level of doubt. I myself spent some time as an Atheist because my doubts were so overwhelming, and it was a terrible dark time in my life. I wish I had a magic cure for you, but honestly one sing...

Re: Question for my friend if you can answer

I agree with CCGR on that, and also I'd add that dreams and visions are (usually) extremely personal. So someone else's dream really isn't for me (unless clearly specified) it is for the person who had that experience. The important thing is what it means to them, and how it helps to guide them towa...

Re: God is... what now?

I must admit, there was a time I would have agreed with this for the sake of unity. However since then I've been shown WHY gender is included in Scripture, rather than God being genderless. It's all about extremely important symbolism, and without it you lose a great deal of what is being said. Stil...

Re: Today I learned...

Today I learned that I've accidentally been saving the HIGHEST compression versions of my art when exporting instead of the LOWEST (aka least loss) which is what I thought I'd been doing. Apparently the new program I use has the export setting flip flopped from the old one I used! Oops. Lesson learn...

Re: What was the last TV show you watched?

Just finished rewatching Season 4 of The Office (after watching the first three seasons). I will probably watch halfway through Season 5 and then quit, as that is the point where I find the show stopped being stellar.

Re: Recommend a book.

I just finished Graceling, by Kristin Cashore. I recommend it. It has ups and downs, but the ups are superb and the downs are never that awful. The main character is a little selfish at parts through the story, and there's violence and dark themes, but overall it is a well crafted story that I'm gla...

Just finished up some Splatoon 2 fanart. It took three days of work. Worth it? I dunno, but hey, I got some good practice in.
