Re: Favorite Kirby Game

My favorite is still the original Kirby's Dream Land. I played that game a lot as a kid and used to beat it without taking a hit. But sadly time has taken that ability from me. Star Stacker and Pinball are both super fun though, even though they're spin offs.

Re: Wargame Miniatures

[Obligatory "For the Emperor" and "Blood for the blood god"] No for real though, I recently just got into a few table top games (I want to say...maybe November of '16.) The Marvel/DC Knights game, Warhammer Age of Sigmar and 40K. Ended up running Space Marines (Salamanders at that) and Chaos for 40K...

Re: Real Time Strategy or Turn Based?

It depends on the game. I enjoy a lot of both. For RTS I have stuff like Dawn of War, Starcraft and Battle for Middle Earth 2. While Turn based games are pretty much endless. Both have their pros and cons. Turn based offer a lot of time to sit and think (at the same time single player RTS games usua...

Re: Racing

I'm actually pretty excited for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. I enjoyed the original quite a bit. Honestly they only reason I'm waiting to get a switch. (Well, that and Splatoon 2.)

Re: Mini NES

Have you seen the Sega Mega Drive thing? cheaply made very slow running As someone who owned one of them, don't even think about it. Not only did it run like crud, but it also had graphical and sound issues. It also wouldn't play certain games like Super Street Fighter 2 due to the hardware being l...

Re: Whatcha reading???

Just finished up I am Legend by Richard Matheson, about the only good thing he's ever written.

Also reading Star Wars: Labyrinth of Evil by James Luceno, which I'm not sure why considering it's all non-canon anymore. But hey, a lot of the SW stuff was written by some great people.

Re: 11-12-15 Nintendo Direct

I am looking forward to the Dragon Quest games something fierce.

I fully completed Dragon Quest 8 on the ps2, so being able to do it again on the 3ds is going to be sweeeeet.

Also looking forward to that Wolf Link Amiibo.

Re: What was the last game you played?

Star Wars: Republic Commando.

It's surprisingly dark and gritty for a Star Wars game. But it has a T rating, so if you don't mind a bit of blood then I highly suggest picking it up on Steam. It's one of my favorite FPS games.

Re: Last Game You Beat

I picked that game up but haven't had time to play it yet. I beat Lumini yesterday, enjoyed it It's great, highly suggest it. Fully completed Thomas Was Alone. Charming little platformer that has some great narration and takes around 3-4 hours to 100%. Also recently completed Analogue: A Hate Story...

TobyMac's This is not a Test.

Not a bad CD, not as good as Eye on It, but not bad.
