Re: Go ask the lizard-guy something....

Probably a cat of some sort. They are one of the most effective predators in the natural world, yet still find the time to nap for several hours each day. :)

Re: MY LITTLE PONY COMIC DUB

Looks like someone found Dead Horse, the Necropony.

(Hint, Shadowed Star - if a thread is older than six months, just leave it alone. It's called "thread necromancy." Some topics don't need to be dragged back out into the light.)

Re: Go ask the lizard-guy something....

I don't have a favorite, per se, because there are so many good games out there! I do have a favorite genre, though. I tend to prefer role-playing games, closely followed by adventure games. What really gets me are games that have a good storyline I can really get into. While there are plenty of gam...

Green, of course. Although I have to admit it's not easy.... ;)

Incidentally, my wife doesn't have a favorite color, either. She keeps changing her mind about what colors she likes.

Re: Buddhism vs Christianity

There was another interesting comparison that I had was when you consider the Buddhist concept of afterlife. The ultimate "goal" or "reward" is to become one with the universe, to lose all sense of self-identity and, in a sense no longer exist. On the contrary, some Christian denominations believe t...

Church punishments for public policy

I thought there was a related thread about this somewhere, but I can't find it now. Which tells me that it is probably pretty old, and rather than become a thread necro, I'd start a new one. Democrat Senator Dick Durbin will no longer receive Communion at his Catholic church - they're cutting him of...

Re: RIP Billy Graham

He was indeed an inspiration to thousands, if not millions. Although I don't have any statistics to back this up, I'm sure that he brought many people closer to Christ during his ministry. I am sure that he has earned his reward in Heaven, and I hope that many have been, and will be, led to follow i...

Re: Go ask the lizard-guy something....

Are you biologically a lizard? Sadly, no. I self-identify as a lizardman. ;) (If so, I'm gonna find my mom and tell her about the site's reptilian member........) [For those of you who don't know, CCGR is my mom] Oh, I think she's quite aware of that already. Of both points, actually.....

Re: The 5 Year Retrospective on the Blood in the Badlands: A Vignette Series

The only problem I see with Tony's plan was in this line.... Then, the attacker would deploy their force on the table across the middle. This almost seems to me that the defender can deploy their army wherever they want, but has to be within a certain distance of the wall. So I don't think Tony woul...
