Baldur's Gate 3

Has anyone else seen the trailer for this one yet? I won't post it here because it is pretty... well, freaky is putting it mildly. It is on Steam, for those who are brave enough to risk it. Now the body horror that the priest of Tempus suffers is pretty horrific... but I nearly jumped out of my chai...

When will the game be finished?

I've been thinking about this off and on, and I think one of the reasons why I don't play Minecraft as often as many other players is because of the constant updates. There have been many times when I've constructed a home or explored an elaborate world... and then they announce a new update. So for...

Re: LFP for Pathfinder (system) homebrew (setting)

Is there any online resource for building Pathfinder characters without having to spring for a rulebook? Here you go, buddy! Incidentally, Pathfinder has been my favorite of tabletop RPGs that I've played. Unfortunately, my life lately has been too crazy and hectic to participate. But I wish you lu...

Re: Episode 9 Trailer

So the Emperor is supposed to return? Sounds like they're getting ideas from the Marvel franchise they own, too. Just wait... the audience will think it's the Emperor, then he lowers his hood and... surprise! It's LOKI!

The crossover you never asked for... Avengers meets Star Wars.

Re: Episode 9 Trailer

I think after the disaster that was Episode 8, I'm over Star Wars.
Took you this long? I was over it after Episode 2. Except for Rogue One, I haven't seen another Star Wars movie since. Can't beat the original trilogy, man....

Christian church gains membership in Syria

I just came across an interesting article about a Christian church near the border of Syria and Turkey. It has been gaining membership from many former Muslims who have witnessed the brutality of ISIS and have decided to question their faith. I hope this church does well, since converting to a diffe...

Re: On Seeking

Well, the first question that came to my mind was "What do you do once you've found Him?"

Maybe that will be the topic for the sequel.

Re: Persecution of Christianity: We Were Warned

Babylon Bee is awesome. Quote from the article.... But the candidates I support tend to be slightly more prone to just leave me alone. Pretty much the core tenant of the Libertarian party right there. But to be honest, I've always thought persecution of any form was just dumb. If you don't l...

Re: We Need More Threads in this Subforum

Same here. My mind (like any typical introvert) needs some time to process what I hear before I can formulate an answer and sometimes by the time I have a relevant thing to say, the conversation has moved on. Agreed. I find I communicate much more effectively when I have a "backspace" key. I...

Re: Think quick! Erm... I mean fast!

The key to fasting is to remain focused on the Lord. Prayer, scripture study, meditation... These are the things that are enhanced when in a state of fasting. I've heard it said that if one doesn't do these things, they aren't really fasting, just being hungry. Or, as I put in my talk, it's just an...

Think quick! Erm... I mean fast!

ArcticFox wants more topics in this subforum, so here I am with a subtopic! I've been asked to give a talk this Sunday about fasting and prayer. So it seemed like a good topic to bring up here. Fasting is kind of a big thing in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (we dedicate at least on...
