Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Repo Men , with Jude Law, Forest Whitaker and, again, Carice van Houten (DUTCH PRYD YEAH!!1). A thoroughly engaging movie with a nice story twist at the end, but some parts were pretty brutal and disgusting. It's about people in the future having artificial body organs, and if they can't pay for th...

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Tonight I watched a Dutch movie I actually liked , which happens rarely. It was De Gelukkige Huisvrouw, which more or less translates to The Happy Housewife. It was about a woman who has a traumatic childbirth experience and develops a post partum depression and psychosis and is sent to a mental hos...

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Yeah it didn't work as a scary movie, I agree, there's no real suspense. But I liked the old English landscapes and buildings and the special effects, so I still liked the movie.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Yeah, I also liked Prince of Persia more than I expected. Fun movie.

Tonight I watched The Wolfman. Not really scary, but the mood and atmosphere (similar to Sleepy Hollow if you ask me), the nice English landscapes and buildings, and the acting and special effects, are all pretty good.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Hercules - Heck yeah.
Do you mean the Disney animated movie? It's one of the lesser known Disney movies, but I enjoyed it a great deal. I might buy it on DVD even.

Re: What song are you listening to?

Nice. :D I believe that Gouryella is the only group involving Tiesto that I like. Mainly because it was back when Tiesto was, you know, kind of good. :P You should check out some Flutlicht stuff, for some more trance from the early 2000s.. LOL, I was almost going to correct you and say that Gouryel...

Re: What song are you listening to?

Now for a song that, unlike the other I posted, you might actually have heard of  :

Lynyrd Skynyrd - Free Bird

A true classic with an excellent guitar part at the end.

Re: What song are you listening to?

Gouryella - Ligaya Gouryella is a project of well-known (in electronic music circles) Dutch DJ/producer Ferry Corsten. This is my favorite song of his. What I like about it is that it presents a string melody, then interweaves a vocal melody that's totally different from the string melody and at fir...

Re: What song are you listening to?

Swedish House Mafia - One (Caspa Dub Remix)

I recently bought me some new Logitech speakers for my PC with a subwoofer, and electronic music like this sounds might fine on it! They were on a discount and I'm very happy I bought them.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

The Shawshank Redemption Wow. So good, I can't even describe it.... Seconded, it's really, really great. It has some disturbing elements, but also a very uplifting message that Christians should be able to connect to IMO. Everyone (except children) should watch it, I think. Here's a good review of ...

...I don't under stand...then again, I get a headache trying to understand modernist idiocy.
If you understand anything the surrealists do, they have failed in their objective.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

I do a weekly movie night with one of my friends, we eat together, chat, then watch two movies. Last wednesday we watched Robin Hood and Iron Man 2, both of which I thought were pretty good (I'm a huge Ridley Scott fan, and although I thought his movie Gladiator is still better, I also really liked ...
