Re: 5 craziest easter eggs in video games

Shame that the top #3 revolved kinda around gay or curse word jokes, but I really liked #5. Shows that there's some kind of kinship of developers (even if there's an on-going law-suit). I think the law suit was dropped recently: http://www.forbes.com/sites/alexknapp/2012/03/16/bethesda-and-mojang-se...

Re: Happy Birthday Syksy. ^_^

Whoa, even a happy birthday thread - thanks a lot! :) I spent my birthday by playing floorball with my dad (awesome father-son -time) and then went to play board games with my friends. The only bad thing is my wife's in US right now and missed my bday :'( She's doing research collaboration in MIT, b...

Re: The Joke Thread

This is an oldie but goodie, clean one: Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson went on a camping trip. After sharing a good meal and a bottle of Petrie wine, they retire to their tent for the night. At about 3 AM, Holmes nudges Watson and asks, "Watson, look up into the sky and tell me what you see?" W...

Re: Assassins Creed Brotherhood Unclean Cutscene List

Heyy, that's a great idea! And welcome to the forums :) Unfortunately I still haven't even finished Assassin's Creed 1 (on my to-do list), so I am unable to assist you so far. Apparently there's some sort of a "Skip cutscene" option in the DNA menu or such, you might want to try that while playing i...

Re: MW3: PC or Xbox

I have always prefered keyboard + mouse over pad for FPS'es.

But I think the ultimate choice should be the same platform as most of your friends / people you know play on. You'll have much more fun that way playing together with them :)

Re: Mass Effect 3

So, how is the single player campaign?

Is it as epic as I would expect for the trilogy finale?

Still been avoiding to buy ME3, will see how long I can avoid it... :)

Re: Tetris floppies

This must be done by the same floppy composer that I've seen play Star Wars by 2 floppy drives, I think it was even posted here before :)

Re: Mass Effect 3

I'm still puzzled that it features multiplayer :S

other than that, I can't wait to become Sheppard again! And I'm probably not going to test single player before-hand. The trilogy needs an ending and I don't want to taste it before I get the real thing.

Re: Comic books

I loved Calvin & Hobbes, too bad there hasn't been any new ones for ages.

Then again there's lots of good web comics out there too, although not exactly Marvel :) XKCD's one of my favorites.

Re: Wargame Miniatures

Very nice! One day when I have the time and motivation, I could post some of the Warhammer Fantasy Battles and 40k figures I got on my shelf. Haven't played or painted them for ages, but you might've sparked old fire a little bit with these fotos here :) need to find a motivated gaming group maybe f...

Re: Recommend a book.

Douglas Adams' original book Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. The first book is hilarious, the later ones in the series are well... good, but not as epic as the first one.

I'd also thumbs up Bruce's suggestion to go for the Discworld series, Terry Prachett's humor is great!

I'll definitely go see it in the theaters with my wife, Tolkien's good stuff.

Re: Battlefield 3 in slow motion

Here's a direct link to the YouTube-page: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7NxGzWYlgU Maybe that'll fix the regional issue. IMHO there shouldn't be any restricted content. It's worth watching full-screen with highest quality :) The same guy posted a decent jet fly video too, nice atmosphere. http://w...
