Re: Whatcha reading???

Now I'm reading "The Politically Incorrect Guide to the American Revolution" by Larry Schweikart. A pretty interesting read, and dismisses some of the false narratives behind the Founding Fathers (they didn't start the revolution for their own financial interests-- beyond Benajmin Franklin, practica...

Re: Christian church gains membership in Syria

Yeah, I've heard a lot of Muslims are converting over in that part of the world. If I remember correctly, when the Muslim Brotherhood were executing those Coptic Christians at the seaside in that video a couple of years back, one of the people they had on their knees was an atheist. After seeing wha...

Re: Whatcha reading???

I'm reading "How to Be A Perfect Christian" by the Babylon Bee.

It is every bit as awesome and hilarious as it sounds.

Re: Last Game You Beat

Just finished the creatively-named Truck Racer on the PS3, another game I got for free from PS Plus some time ago. A fairly basic racing game-- rather easy, mostly because of the bonkers A.I. that just nitros into the nearest wall. Others might be bugged by that, but I like easy games, so it was sti...

Re: Think quick! Erm... I mean fast!

I've only tried it a few times, myself, but it's never really done anything for me. I'm not sure why. All I do is feel weak and/or sleepy.

Yeah, I don't like live-chatting. I like to really think about what I'm going to say before I say it.

Re: We Need More Threads in this Subforum

Well, in fairness that's the case in most of the forums. It seems like there's 4-5 regulars and then others who only post in the review forum and people who come in and post 15 posts to get on the Minecraft server and then don't come on again. I kinda wish this forum was more populated too but it is...

Re: Persecution of Christianity: We Were Warned

Honestly, I think just how much Jews and Christians have been persecuted over the years when compared to other religions as a whole is practically a proof in itself that we're the "one true religion". Re: Why Can't a Good Person Who Doesn't Accept Jesus Go To Heaven?

For me, that represents why Jesus tells us to keep our thoughts pure. It's to avoid putting in the bad grains. Now, if we consciously, deliberately put in black grains then yes, that's a sinful decision that we'll be judged on. So in that sense, you're right. My tweak on that is to say that it isn'...

Re: New games v. 2.0

I got a lot of games for Christmas, having gotten a PS4 for Black Friday and getting a bunch of store credit for all those crazy sales over the holidays. I have yet to play any of them, but here they are: -Infamous: Second Son & First Light -Uncharted 4: A Thief's End -Uncharted: The Lost Legacy -Th...

Re: Last Game You Beat

I just beat Invizimals: Lost Kingdom on the PS3, a game I got for free via PS Plus a few years ago. A little glitchy, but a basic, solid, easy platformer/brawler obviously aimed at kids that kinda reminds me of Ben 10 in that you become a bunch of animals with different abilities.

Re: Whatcha reading???

I'm now reading "When Harry Became Sally: A Response to the Transgender Moment", by Ryan Anderson. Absolutely heartbreaking book, how much society is pushing this on people who need actual help and not gender transition hormones that usually only make their lives even worse.

Re: Politics in Games: Where's the line?

-Oh, I know, I'm not going to really get into political stuff in the actual review. I'm only briefly going to mention the Research Station missions as a minus, and mostly because doing things like regulating utilities and measuring air contaminants seems very out-of-step from what you would expect S...
