Re: Tinyland (My current and longest-standing minecraft survival world; beta 1.7.3)

Here's a quick look at some spectacular sights. (Actually, I'm going to leave this entire episode to one area in Tinyland that really interested me for its scenery.) I've been exploring part of this area and already, it looks to be quite awesome. https://i.imgur.com/tKQ8sTB.png More of the area... h...

Re: Tinyland (My current and longest-standing minecraft survival world; beta 1.7.3)

Now, I don't really have much in terms of my next episode, but it should be enough, and move stress (upon moving to another house) was why I haven't posted yesterday, and the server had problems, so that's also why I didn't do it earlier. Anyways, here's some of all my buildings, with some of them s...

Re: Tinyland (My current and longest-standing minecraft survival world; beta 1.7.3)

Now, here are some spectacular sights I've seen along the way. (I've yet to find more, but I'm kind of considering exploring.) What a beautiful mountain, reminds me of the mountains in Hiawassee Georgia. https://i.imgur.com/SP9dDAB.png WHAT a nice cove, you can't get that past 1.7.3! Perfect place f...

Re: Tinyland (My current and longest-standing minecraft survival world; beta 1.7.3)

Okay, here's my deaths and close calls: My first (and one of only) deaths; I ran into lava, and knew I couldn't live, though I was smart enough to dig into an area so I could at least die without my stuff falling into lava. I would have a picture of the death site, but I couldn't find the exact loca...

Re: Tinyland (My current and longest-standing minecraft survival world; beta 1.7.3)

Thanks for the replies, y'all. I appreciate that. It really does mean a lot to my first impressions, and I'll always cherish them with this version. In fact, it felt weird to me at first with the lack of 'oblong' blocks, but now I realize that the game felt a lot more blocky than it did in its prese...

Tinyland (My current and longest-standing minecraft survival world; beta 1.7.3)

I've been playing minecraft beta 1.7.3 for a while now, and I'm glad to say that no other mod, version, or game is going to replace that, it's that good. So, here's some of my images: This is my main base; so cool for a traditional minecraft cabin. https://i.imgur.com/VVPTLZI.png And here's my neigh...

Re: Minecraft 2 (by jdc997, my opinion)

Personally I think what makes Minecraft amazing is it wasn't derivative. Also how simple it is, at its core. So rather than Minecraft 2, I'd rather see "Something New #1." Let Minecraft be Minecraft and bring on what's next! :) I certainly understand wanting Minecraft 2.0, though. It's a very fun g...

Minecraft 2 (by jdc997, my opinion)

Hey, I've found a suggestion on Minecraft Forum by jdc997 called Minecraft 2, which is basically reinventing the original game because the first one is 'past its prime', as the OP said. This involves a more complex game engine, crafting, and combat, and even has a feature that would make the new gam...

Re: What's your favorite game to play?

My favorite game is, in fact, the only one I play currently; Minecraft, particularly Better than Wolves. I do do some MasterCaver's world gameplay as well as Beta 1.7.3, and a little bit of servers if I'm not interested in anything else. I love Better than Wolves; it actually punishes me for dying, ...

Re: How has Gaming benefitted your life as a believer in Christ?

As others mentioned; as I've learned from gaming, gaming is often demoted to being a 'mind-control device' and destroying people's lives through 'addiction' and stuff like that. Gaming isn't magically more destructive than pen-and-paper RPGs and board games; it's just like every other form of entert...

Re: Nintendo Switch

That is something; Google started off as a search engine, and now it's gone on to basically dominate the electronics market. That is strange considering you'd never expect such a thing; DuckDuckGo wouldn't do that because it's just a search engine, would it? :) As for the main subject (sorry, we ha...

Re: Pokemon Survey

I assume 12 total, and they were R/B/Y, G/S/C, Sapphire, Diamond, White, Dungeon BRT and EOT, and Trading Card Game. My favorite was White. Pokedexes? I haven't even come close to completing a single one, and in fact I've never really did play the games intelligently; I'd rely on my starter and any ...

Re: Favorite Kirby Game

I'm surprised no one has said this, but mine would have to be The Crystal Shards - solely for being able to have two copy abilities at the same time. If I still played it, I'd still be experimenting with them, it was that fun.
