Re: No-Blood/Gore, Language, and Modesty Mods

Arn't RPG maker games difficult to mod without opening and repacking the archives? Tried once years ago with to the moon and remember something about the text being in the tiles themselves.

Re: No-Blood/Gore, Language, and Modesty Mods

I tried modding FC2 years ago... too protected. FC3+ is even more protected. Last time I looked, also years ago, you could "mod" them by editing text files and changing a few parameters ingame but noting proper. protip, almost nothing (if anything) published by ubipoop is ever properly moddable so I...

Re: No-Blood/Gore, Language, and Modesty Mods

Since I finished playing the campaign months ago I can test it with the DLC now.... yes the geck is terrible (usable at least) for voice and dialogue editing.... gave me bad eyestrain when I did my mod.

Re: Deus.....EX!!

The original is the only one I bother with (especially with the GMDX mod). The squeal should just burn for how badly it was NOT a deus ex game. The square enix games are technically good but generally made me feel as if I was being spiritually molested somehow.... REALLY creepy feeling. Add to that ...

Re: Mount and Blade

Just be careful with that kind of realism, it can become too real sometimes.

Great games though, no story at all and it managed to hook me for years.... burnt out on it.

Re: I'm having trouble...

Other than the obvious reasons to get rid of a game (blasphemous or excessively bad language, magic, general elevation of immoral lifestyles) as soon as a game starts to just feel "wrong" you have to ask yourself why you get this bad vibe. Sometimes a game can have most of its problems modded out of...

Re: Does Crossy Road = Gambling...?

It's only gambling if you risk loosing something for the thrill or greed of it. Even simulated "proper" gambling for fun (though I don't know why you'd bother) is fine because you can't loose anything.

Re: LGBT 'Shame List' of Christian colleges released

In other twisted news: Top 10 schools of christian fundamentalist wackos. Where is everyone's sense of fun, the colleges need to start to compete to get to the top of this "shame" list. These crazy far-left idjits are basically previously bullied rejects that now feel the false power society has foo...

Re: No-Blood/Gore, Language, and Modesty Mods

What is nice with the dlc's is their topics usually start with "dlc" so its easy to differentiate from the main game when you do a text search. And yes it's much less work.

Re: No-Blood/Gore, Language, and Modesty Mods

Nah since I only focus on blasphemy and there is only a few things left I can easily finish it, will do that next weekend probably. My main problem is procrastination leaving me with a large buildup of potential mods, especially now that I have this new OCD crusade of making all 5 pointed stars in g...

Re: No-Blood/Gore, Language, and Modesty Mods

I have had success editing the the language bin file and getting that back in. Using gibbed's tools you extract the bigfiles, find the files you want to edit and preserving the folder structure repack only the edited files. Then using the DEBUG mod/tool/thing just drop it into it's mods folder I thi...

Re: No-Blood/Gore, Language, and Modesty Mods

It's easy enough editing the subtitles of HR (extract the bigfiles and hex edit the language bin file), the audio is the hard part.... I truly despise fsb. For the DC you can use the "debug" mod to load others, it probably works fine for the original too. I had the motivation to do it for a short wh...
