Re: Does anyone still play guitar hero games?

I do play the odd Guitar Hero game every now and then, I'm rusty as... well.. insert your favourite curse word there.

It was a game I picked up quite quick, had mastered expert within about six hours of playing it, my friends always had me on vocals though, which is literally the easiest part.

Re: Favorite sports

Used to play a lot of soccer when I was a kid, Made a pretty good goalkeeper, since most of the kids were aiming for my face anyway. :P

Prayer Request

I must point out that I'm not particularly religious, so this may seem somewhat hypocritical of me. But since this is the place to do it, I would like to pray for the victims of the recent spate of attacks in Europe and across the world. No matter what creed, colour or religion, nobody deserves to h...

Re: Recommend a book.

If you can still get your hands on a copy, I would suggest Half-Life 2: Raising the Bar.

It's quite insightful if you're interested in the behind the scenes stuff regarding video games.

Last book I read was a biography on Isambard Kingdom Brunel, the man was a genius.

Re: Last CD You Bought?

Van Halen - Diver Down

I've been building up a collection of Van Halen CDs (David Lee Roth era), Most of my music is stored on a hard drive though, I don't mind not having physical copies all that much, I do keep backups at least.

Re: What song are you listening to?

As I'm making this post, nothing, though I do have to make backups of everything I've got on the only drive that works right now, so I'm going to have to go through the music on here at the moment to see what I don't mind losing.

Think I'll start with Cheap Trick.

Re: What was the last TV show you watched?

I honestly cannot remember the last TV show I actually watched, it's been so long since I've watched TV for anything other than the news, which even then is rather biased these days, and probably has been for a long time. I do remember watching The Big Bang Theory, and while I got a bit of a laugh o...

Re: Your favorite TV shows

I used to watch Top Gear, when it was still Clarkson, May and Hammond. I'm more of a documentary guy though, it's a shame the Discovery Channel isn't anywhere close to what it used to be.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Ooh, the last movie I watched, Deadpool if I recall correctly, I went to see it in the cinema with my partner, and a friend from North Carolina that I'd known on the internet for ten years, whom I finally got to meet face-to-face for the first time.

Re: Last Game You Beat

System Shock 2 was the last game I beat, I play it through once yearly at least. I should really try an OSA build, I'm usually some variant of hacker/marine.

Re: New games v. 2.0

Last game I bought was Fallout 4, and I was daft enough to buy the Pip-boy Edition, and the season pass.

Usually the base game and the season pass is enough for me, but the silly, gimmicky pip-boy won me over... Only my Galaxy S6 doesn't fit in it.

[insert exclamatory curse word here]

Re: What was the last game you played?

Last game I played was Payday 2, unless you count mobile apps, in which case Pokemon GO has taken up my time, as the hard drive containing all of my games has since given up the ghost thanks to the recent heat we've been having in the UK though.

Re: Introductions - New Members Post Here!

Greets, I'm Revenant. I basically signed up to join the Minecraft server whitelist. I'm fairly blunt as you can probably tell, not particularly religious either, but thanks to the glowing recommendations I've heard about CCG from DeepFreeze and GamerGate, I feel welcome enough to join you guys and g...
