Re: Why Aren’t More Intellectuals Believers?

Hi again folks, it's been a while since I commented on here. I'm not going to quote, because it takes so long to read past all the quotes in each post, it's like reading 3 times the number of posts just to get to the meat of it. Not saying it doesn't help, just that I'm tired, it's been a long day a...

Re: Why Aren’t More Intellectuals Believers?

Quite a bit of argument on this post, but I won't take issue with anyone in particular, just place a few thoughts into the mix: If God exists, then He created every science that exists, since it is a rational explanation of what He has created. If God created things with a certain order about them (...

Re: where is your god now christfags

Psalm 115:2-3 is a pretty apt response to the question:

"Why do the nations say, 'Where is their God?'
Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him."

verses 3-8 talk about other gods and those who follow them... but even just those 2 verses tell enough of the story.

Why Do People Go/Not Go to Heaven?

I was reading a dead post which was revived, and didn't want to continue it in case it was against the rules... but much of the content of the comments was discussion about whether everyone will go to heaven, and/or why people who aren't Christians can also do good works and get into heaven... and s...

Re: What is your favorite Lego game?

Lego Lord of the Rings was my favourite, also enjoyed Lego Movie Videogame and Lego Star Wars... I was considering buying Lego the Hobbit, but I won't because they only included 2 of the 3 movies in it, and made a statement that they will never release a DLC of the 3rd movie like they planned to... ...

Re: Rubik's cube

My cousin's son is a whiz at pretty much all of the Rubik's Cube variations... I can do the 3x3 one in a few minutes. I start out with the top edges, go to top corners, and then use a certain sequence of moves to do the middle and bottom edges at the same time. If I'm lucky, the bottom corners will ...

Re: World of Warcraft

I also used to play WoW, from the Burning Crusade through Cataclysm, and again for Warlords of Draenor... but once I wasn't playing with my friends anymore, I didn't enjoy it enough to pay for it and sink a bunch of time into it anymore.

Re: Real Time Strategy or Turn Based?

I quite like turn-based (ever since Ogre Battle 64 for the N64)... RTS are cool, but I always feel like I could have done more... whereas with a turn-based game, you have all the time you need to strategize your best possible strategy if you want.

Re: Strategy board games

I haven't played "Descent" in a while, but that's a fun one, and the miniatures are fun to paint as well... also, "War of the Ring", and "Battlestar Galactica" are pretty epic. A friend of mine created a game called Khrysos Hunters which is quite fun as well... his website for the game is... never m...

I really enjoy watching Bored Shorts. They call themselves Family-Friendly Comedy for All Ages. Although they're not gaming-related, they're quite enjoyable. I especially recommend watching some of their Kid Snippets.

Re: Surprising objectionable content.

Yeah, I saw Prison Architect available on Steam months ago, and I don't think the tutorial existed then... when I saw it on sale I bought it, and was quite disappointed by the graphic images (and swearing) contained in the tutorial. One thing I thought they did get right in the tutorial, was the cha...

Re: How has Gaming benefitted your life as a believer in Christ?

When Christ is central in your life, all things you do will reflect that reality. The same should hold true for gaming. I will not pretend that I'm perfect, when it comes to reflecting Christ when gaming, or in life, but He has brought about some really cool opportunities for me to share His love, a...

Re: League of Legends?

I'm not as active on LoL as I used to be, but I still play casually on the NA server. I've been playing for about 4 years now, no ranked at all in 2012, bronze in 2013, silver in 2014, silver in 2015, and so far bronze in 2016. Summoner Name: Angrus Rank: Bronze 2 Preferred Positions: Support > ADC ...
