Re: Starting Over

Wow. Y'all are so courageous to be this open and transparent. My wife an I started Whole30 on June 1st. That's no grains, no sweetners (real or fake) and no dairy. There are a few other stipulations but that's the gist of it. It get's tough but doing it with someone who loves me as much as "the girl...

Re: angels

Okay, a lot to talk about in this thread. Yes, Ezekiel has some truly strange stuff in it - but what an amazing book. Wow. Just plain wow. I love Chapter 37 - the dry bones and I wonder what happened to all those people after they were brought back to life? did they just live normal lives or what? T...

Re: Post some Scriptures from the Bible Here!!!!

Hebrews 10:25 has been abused by so many people to say that you must attend church or go to hell (down here in the south that's a two syllable word and it's pronounced Hay-ell). In context with the rest of that thought it says, "So let’s do it—full of belief, confident that we’re presentable inside ...

Re: Remove the churches get more bad people?

What an amazing, eclectic collection of thoughts and personalities reflected in this simple discussion! We love others not for some reward or even to avoid punishment. We love people because it's the response to God's love that is inside of us as Christ -followers. His love is a most remarkable foun...

Re: As Christians, do we "accept" homosexuals?

Good video Bruce Campbell, This thread illustrates how wise this group is. I really can't refute anything said here and may not be able to add much either... But I do want to say a couple things on the topic. I have a friend I grew up with who says that God made him gay. Yet, God says that homosexua...

Re: Funny in-game piracy punishments

I think the one for the Game Dev Tycoon is pretty ironic - in the prated version your software shop goes broke from pirates. LOL

Hi All,
I stumbled across this server and forum.
Looks like this could become a favorite forum.
Not a huge gamer although I do love MineCraft.
Mostly, I hope to interact with like minded Christ followers.

Re: The bible in different languages.

+1 for BibleGateway. It's a great tool and has enormous value. I also use a fat client version that can be downloaded (free) from e-sword.net. I've used it for years and it has dozens of versions of old and new Testaments including numerous languages. Lots of tools. Lots of goodies. peace, Expat_PM

Re: The Rapture: The Hope of All Believers or Dangerous Here

In the end he said I relied too much on reason, and not enough on Scripture, to prove my point This, right here, is the problem with any religious discussion: That reason and scripture must be in opposition. I find that position to be absurd. Proper understanding of Scripture requires reason. God g...

Re: just some thoughts

We live in a fallen world. It's hard to live in this world sometimes and we may often wish God would intervene. But let's not get caught up in the enemy's game blaming God for not being who we think He should be. We see through such narrow window that shows us only the most slender slice of reality ...

And, of course, Axis & Allies . ArcticFox, you're so right about Axis & Allies. It is an amazing game - Risk on steroids! My son introduced me to A & A miniatures. If you haven't seen it yet find it and check it out. You build an army and battle an opponent on a small, somewhat variable map. A box ...
