Re: Ask the Heathen Part 33 1/3

I'm going to give you the benefit of a doubt here, and assume you didn't mean to imply that I wasn't honest when I answered you.
Correct, sorry for the poor wording. I just appreciated you being honest by letting me know you can't answer based on the framework.

Re: Ask the Heathen Part 33 1/3

Okay, here's where the premise falls apart. I don't see myself accepting that such a god loves or cares about me, or anyone really. I can't see myself in this scenario. And that's why I can't answer yes or no to your question. It's also one of the reasons I don't believe in the Christian version of...

Re: Ask the Mormon

Do you agree with the quote below? If not, please elaborate on what you think. I don't, because I disagree with the assertion that it's a works based system. Even if one believes in a OSAS doctrine, it still requires that the person being saved make the conscious choice to accept Jesus Christ as Lo...

Re: Ask the Mormon

Do you agree with the quote below? If not, please elaborate on what you think. So, What’s the Difference Between Mormon Grace and Christian Grace? The Christian view of grace doesn’t involve a ladder of any kind; in Christian theology, Jesus doesn’t bring us a ladder to climb. Instead, Jesus drops ...

Re: Ask the Heathen Part 33 1/3

If you knew that there was a just God out there who created the universe, loves you the way you are, and has a good plan for you, would you still want to get to know/follow Him even if you don't understand/agree with the way He does everything? Is there clear evidence that that this God exists, and...

Re: the indwelling of the Holy Spirit

the Bible clearly states in Galatians 5:22-23 that those who possess the Holy Spirit show its fruit. "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law." I agree. Most Christians have a one time...

Re: Post some Scriptures from the Bible Here!!!!

Found this just now and thought I'd share. Jesus is the author and perfecter of our faith... and a ninja master! Luke 4:28-30 Today's New International Version (TNIV) [Balanced] 28 All the people in the synagogue were furious when they heard this {That is, the truth} . 29 They got up, drove him out ...

Re: New games v. 2.0

I just bought Terraria for $5 (Gold Member Price) for Xbox360. It's pretty interesting and quite difficult for a long time Minecraft player in my opinion, despite what you might think. Based on my first impressions of "Normal" difficulty, I would say it must be a pretty hard game. It makes you think...

Re: The United Kingdom has banned the teaching of creationis

I think Creationism should be an elective offered and referenced in the Science classroom. If you are not interested, then don't take it. If you want your belief to have a class, then get enough people to believe it and support it, and put it in there as an elective. Why not?
