Re: New games v. 2.0

Installed Minecraft 1.10 server.

Recently purchased "Beseige" and "Terraria" for my son. Also bought CTF ranks for my kids on BRAWL, right before the new EULA took effect.

Re: Last Game You Beat

Well, I guess that depends on how you define "beat". Played some retro Asteroids the other day, with a high score of 20K. Other than that, I mostly play Minecraft with my children. It's been decades since I was a full-on gamer. Back then it was things like Asteroids, Defender, Donkey Kong, Atari, an...

Re: What was the last game you played?

Well, I used GIT to compile the latest Minecraft server 1.10 for Spigot. Then I went on to check out the polar bears, magma blocks, bone blocks, etc. It's kind of neat that you don't have to jump to get up a single block level now. I also like how the magma blocks reflect the highest level of light ...

Prayer Request

Please pray for my wife, that God would heal her. I can't go into detail, but it's really been a struggle for our family to deal with. Pray for all of us, and especially for my wife's healing.

Thanks.

Re: Recommend a book.

I can't recommend anything better than the Bible. Our family reads through this together every day, and it helps transform your thinking to God's ways. I also recently read a good book on management, called "Hardwiring Excellence by Quitn Studer. It shows how to improve employee motivation and patie...

Re: Whatcha reading???

Our family reads the Bible every day. It's the best book, and the only one to live by. I've also recently been reading "Hardwiring Excellence", for my work responsibilities.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

"The Gods of Egypt". Well, I think the world is looking for something greater than ourselves. The good news is, there really is a God bigger than ourselves, and He's the one I want to make known.

Re: Your favorite TV shows

Start Trek (TOS) is one of my favorites, when I'm not busy at work, or trying to raise three children. I miss the old days, when the Biblical role of male leadership was still an accepted way of life in America.

Re: What was the last TV show you watched?

The last TV show I watched was TOS (The Original Star Trek), today. Yes, I know. I'm old. But pound-for-pound, those were (and still are) some of the best, IMHO.

Re: Last CD You Bought?

The last actual CD I bought was classical music (e.g. Bach Brandenburg Concerto). That was like 15 or 20 years ago. Now I download digital mp3s, which are so much more convenient. I'm old enough to remember the vinyl, 45 records, though.

Right now, I'm listening to the default Minecraft music that plays in the background. I also listen to christian and classical music.

Re: New Member Introductions

Greetings. I believe Christ's death satisfied God's righteous demands against our sins, and that God raised Him from the dead. My three children started playing Minecraft years ago. We started our own server, but wanted to find a group of Christians to fellowship with on Minecraft. I look forward to...
