Re: What was the last game you played?

...no, I attached your name to ChickenSoup's post...I blame a lack of adequate sleep.

So let me rephrase that, ChickenSoup, have you played any of the new ones?

(Though you're welcome to answer the question too ccgr...)

Hunger Games: Catching Fire

I was fortunate enough to watch this last night (work rented some theatres and had an employee pre-screening), and it was awesome. Compared to the first movie, it all seemed improved. Just in a general sense, not that anything stood out to me as so much better than the first. As far as sticking to t...

Re: Elder Scrolls Anthology

As far as prices go, I can do one better... Amazon has it for 73.49. After some looking between Steam and Amazon, Amazon has the better prices. That said, even after Skyrim Legendary ($40) and Oblivion GOTY ($20), you've hit $60. Skipping morrowind momentarily...the first two games can be downloaded...

Re: M rated games

I haven't played Black Ops 2's campaign, but at least in the first, I think the only thing the filter changed were the F words... Don't get me wrong, it was nice to be able to have some control, but there was still plenty of language if I remember correctly. As far as PC shooters though, Planetside ...

Re: Firefly

I believe it is on Netflix too, if you have that...or you can do what I did. Set up a trial Prime membership at Amazon, watch them for free and don't renew :) Though you do have to watch them all within the 2 weeks or month or whatever it is.

Re: Firefly

Ok, I wondered on that. I watched it via Amazon, and saw the Air dates were out of order for the episodes, but figured it must have been a glitch. Kind of like how my Flashpoint seasons have a different order than Netflix did... O.o I can see where that would hurt it when it first came out, but hope...

Re: Firefly

Some of the episodes were kind of odd. I think that after watching the whole season, you start to really like the characters and the interaction between them. If I had stopped watching after any one episode, it wouldn't have been nearly as interesting.

Re: Firefly

I know, I keep seeing comments online about rebooting it...but to do that they would need a new cast. And honestly as much as I would like seeing it come back, I'm not sure it would be nearly as good with the different characters. Can't really beat some of the lines either...one of the ones I enjoye...

Firefly

Um...wow...I loved this show, can't believe I hadn't heard of it prior to a month(ish) ago. Anyone else watch it? After finishing it I watched Serenity. I liked that too, but it was the one movie I have watched where I legitimately felt sad after watching it. Of course, that was because I knew there...

Re: whee.

Out of curiousity, if you don't feel like going to any of the churches near you, have you considered watching/listening to sermons online? Mark Brewer is a great pastor and someone I would recommend if you are interested.

Will pray for you, and also willing to talk if you want.

Re: Age of Empires

Ok, I have both for the second game. If you want to play a game multiplayer, it would probably work best to pm me here, and we can find a time. I am semi-busy with rl stuff right now, but still can fit in some time for games :)

Re: Age of Empires

I have both Emrock. I just don't have the Asian Dynasties expansion for III.

And if your dad is cool with it, and I am on, then I would be good for some multiplayer too.

Re: EVE / Current happenings

I like how you put that. Eve certainly gets boring fast if you don't like who you are playing with, or just don't like that type of game.
