Is Skyrim worth it, or....?

Is Skyrim really worth it, or should I save my gift card for the coming new Fable?

Re: Recommend a book.

I could not finish that book. I read three chapters, and determined that it was the most-overwritten book I've ever seen. XD Promptly stopped altogether after reading up on objectivism. :P My son didn't even dare to start the book. The movie, part 1, was excellent, without all the fluff. I recommen...

Re: Anybody use an E-Reader?

I have an original Nook that I don't use much, only when my phone needs charged. I mostly read on my phone, as I can read in bed after lights out on the Nook App for Android. We recently picked up a Nook Color for the little kids for their home school. I'm so glad we did. The NookKids Read to Me boo...

Re: Recommend a book.

LOL, You really want my recommendeds list?? Considering I'm a voracious reader and used to be a bookseller that supported my habit, I'm not sure it's entirely possible. I'll do my best, but it will have to come in chunks as I recall them. My Top Favorites (not necessarily in order): 1) MYST book ser...

Re: Courageous

We don't usually do movies in the theater either, so I read the book first. When I found out what a great story it was, I urged my husband to also, but he's a slow reader, so I read it aloud to him. We've spent the last couple of months being excited for the dvd, so I finally picked that up yesterda...

Re: URU: Online - Myst stuff

You must, must, must!, finish the original games. They just kept getting better and better. Riven was awesome, and URU, well, URU/ MystOnline is a definite experience. So sorry you missed URU Live in it's heyday. The neighborhoods are mostly ghost towns now. But it's a great place to be if you need ...

Re: Not easy, not short.. But keep me in your prayers

Wow. Yes, we will pray for you. That being said, I want to say, I can relate. My husband and I have been in the same rut for 10 years also. As much as I have tried to help him with bringing in an income, nearly ALL of my efforts have failed, and the ones that didn't fail altogether, didn't bring in ...

Ooooh, squeeeeee!!! They've renamed again, but it looks like they have brought it home to Cyan again. And it's free. :D

Re: URU: Online - Myst stuff

The last sequel in the MYST franchise was URU:Ages Beyond Myst, and had one expansion. It grew, and they contracted with a super server site, I forget who, and renamed it URU:Online. Anywho... after a time Superserversite, decided there weren't enough subscriptions to keep the service going. The lic...

URU: Online - Myst stuff

Is anyone here playing on the player servers, and doing player-made worlds?

How's it going? Updates? Cyan rebuilding yet?
