Thanks to Digital Praise for giving us this game to review!

Dance Praise is required to play the expansion! Have you played your Dance Praise songs to death and you’re looking for some fresh music? Do you like modern praise and popular Christian radio music? If you answered yes to any of those questions you may want to check out the second expansion pack for Dance Praise. This expansion packs add thirty-five new songs to your collection. You need to have Dance Praise installed in order to play these songs. The each expansion pack sells for $24.95 at Covenant Games

Installation/Integration

Installation is really easy and once it’s installed you’ll see the songs the next time you launch Dance Praise. You can sort the songs by play list to see the color coded songs you added. It doesn’t get much easier than that. If you want to uninstall you have to use the uninstaller from the start menu since it’s not available in the control panel.

Usability

The expansion does not add any new features that I noticed. The arrows still go down instead of up like most DDR games. The accuracy of the arrows is questionable at times but for the most part, decent. The grading is very lenient. In this game I passed a song with the hardest difficulty and with over 150 misses but I still passed. Hard mode is pretty easy until you get to level 4 & 5 songs, but even those are not challenging enough. DDR veterans won’t find this game very challenging at all.

Appropriateness

The song selection is very good and it’s all praise music. Can’t go wrong with that!

Final Thoughts

This collection has music from many well-known artists and the song selection seems to be pretty good. I liked most of the songs personally and I recommend this expansion to anyone. With an asking price of $24.95 this is a fair price for adding this much to the Dance Praise game play.

About Us:

Christ Centered Gamer looks at video games from two view points. We analyze games on a secular level which will break down a game based on its graphics, sound, stability and overall gaming experience. If you’re concerned about the family friendliness of a game, we have a separate moral score which looks at violence, language, sexual content, occult references and other ethical issues.
