That was such helpful advice, Darth.

What goat, Laz?

The goat sitting in our shed.

The goat that has destroyed our front lawn and back law and driveway.

The goat that has given only a pint of milk a day for the past two months.

Read it, Darth. ;) Read it.

SigInt, I would kill it but... I'm not even allowed to kick it when it is bad for fear of "hurting our friend" (My mom).

I loathe being sick.

8O Darth doesn't even know how much money he owes CCGR now, does he?

Does your mom eat steak, Laz?

Maybe I'll go back and edit my novelette some more.

He'll probably be catatonic when he finds out. 8)
Yeah, she does. ...She actually cooked some goat meat for supper a while ago. It tasted awful. I was not surprised, for some obvious reasons... (anything that ornery has to be as stringy and tough as boot leather)

And Fingolfin - that is certainly debateable.

So she'll eat beef and goat, but that particular goat has received something resembling human status? :?

Precisely.

And yet - when my older brother was kicking us around, she simply ignored it.

*cough*

A little logic might nice, then. Though I doubt she'd appreciate it.

She would not, as you surmised.

One man's logic is another man's absurdity.

Well, there's logic and then there's people attempting to use logic to back up their preexisting emotional reactions.
