Why are you killing yourself first? Aren't there enough stupid people to start with.

Pushing red-hot needles into my fingers usually helps in those situations. Both of you might want to try that, I reckon.

I sincerely doubt that. :(

Apologies. My case of cynicism is flaring up again.

Wow, I feel like I've missed a lot in this thread.

Here's what I saw a lot of: "I'm depressed."

I hate depression. That's all there is to it. I know that depression usually has a legitimate source, but that doesn't mean I can't hate being depressed, does it? Do I have any wonder-advice? No. I don't like to try and give an "end all solution" to depression, because there really isn't any. Basically, finding wherein the problem originates and working from there to rid ourselves of depression seems to be the only effective thing. Of course, there's often a "bright side" to try and look for.

Example: Laz, you're smart. Plain and simple. And your sarcastic humor is awesome. You may live in what seems to be a challenging family environment, but God can use that. Just hang in there, you have a lot of people rooting for you.

Or SigInt, you tend to you seem to be a driving force in this online community. You (typically) see things as they are, and that's probably the source of your cynicism, but at least it's founded in reality. You know who you are, and you probably have a good idea of what God wants you to be, even if that's outside of the "boxes" that people try to put you into. Keep your chin up, God can do great things in, through, and for you. Just hang in there. You have people rooting for you as well.

Or CK, you seem so much the polar opposite of SigInt. You inspire me with your willingness to throw caution to the wind and passionately seek to take God's grace to the masses. You're imaginative and caring, and you don't let so-called "reality" get you down because you're so certain that God will see you through. Just keep looking up, ok? God's got your back, and you inspire more people than you can realize. People will be noticing and cheering you on; have no doubts about it.

Or Pen, you're a smart guy with massive ability to pay attention to detail. You inspire me to set and meet standards on the boards (even if that's just the "proper" way to roleplay). In spite of seeing the fine details, you seem to think broad and large-scale just as well. You seem to get the big picture. You seem to have a dark humor style that, so long as I don't take you too seriously, is quite funny. I think that people notice you, and that's a pretty powerful thing. And I think that you have strong leadership potential. God can do great things through you, just make intentional efforts to remain in Him. When you wanna shoot yourself in the foot, think about the fact that God is probably smiling just because you're who you are. Seek God, and don't look back.

I'll post all of that in the Encouragement thread where it belongs, but I thought it worthwhile to post here. Just keep looking up, everyone, and be sure to realize that you have people on your side.

Well Xian, thanks for the encouragement. ;) I haven't been in a depressed state as much lately - due in part to being on this forum, imo.

Although... I suppose it could be due to making 145 kills in AA in the last three days. :D
