Well, nobody wants to sell one to Dad, so it may be a while before he gets another goat(I hope.)
Yeah, we usually eat oatmeal or some form of crisp. Yummy... although it gets kind of old eating cereal without milk.

I'm hoping there's actually something in your oatmeal besides oats. I wouldn't consider it appetizing otherwise.
I was looking up IQ tests because I was bored, and then I realized that if I got anything below about 130 I'd be so annoyed at myself I'd be unable to finish my homework.

That's about it, usually. Oats. You'd think we were horses.

I've never taken any IQ tests... intelligence is relative anyway.

I haven't either. I know my dad got about 150 when he took one. 8O

8O Well, they approximate Einstein's IQ to be around 180 or so.

Oh well. You're smarter than me anyway.

Uhm... how do you come to that conclusion?

Well, you're better than me at math for one thing.

Very nice, Ice. Most of us with Wiis and online capabilities have been sharing friend codes. I think there's a list somewhere with everyone who's sharing codes somewhere in the Gaming Fun part of the boards.
You're not a mathematician, SigInt? For some reason, I would have thought you to have been.
I think I should go back to playing A Link to the Past. Somehow, in spite of loving Zelda games, I've never owned that one until I bought it on the Wii VC yesterday. It's good stuff. Actually, now that I'm playing it, I wonder why it is that Zelda: OoT got such raving reviews. I mean, it pretty much seems like LttP translated to 3D. Translated extremely well, it was, but OoT doesn't seem quite as revolutionary right now.

I don't mind it-it was just that when I got to college that I realized how utterly inadequate my math teacher had been before then.

I'm still trying to catch up.
I was giving my dad an overview of Heisenberg's uncertainty principle the other day...and I wasn't getting a blank stare.

My parents taught us math mainly - at the expense of several other subjects(notably: geography, social studies, and grammar/spelling/art).
...which explains why I have no clue as to where Qatar is located, but can derive dx/dy from the equation x^2 + 2x - 2.

See, I said you were better at math.
My mom (my math teacher

) still doesn't understand how x can stand for a number. I'm sitting there thinking that the number is just a symbol for the quantity anyway.

Well, what can I say?
Hmm...
Sie würden ein guter Meuchelmörder, sowieso sein.
When in doubt, resort to speaking German..

Orationem pulchram non habens, scribo ista linea in lingua Latina.
You could always say that.
Maybe I'll try and study my math a bit more now-catch up a little.
