Yesterday was an extremely bad day in every way, shape and form, SigInt. :x

Anyway, to continue my trend of reporting daily events in the life of my family on this forum...

Our driveway is about 3/8ths of a mile long. We got so much snow yesterday(and it was so cold), that we needed to plow it out, but the tractor's fuel line was frozen.

We spent most of the day shovelling snow, to clear a path for the tractor, which we pushed into a small rickety shack my brother built. Then we spent several hours putting a small woodburner in that shack, lit a fire in it, and waited.

I was somewhat surprised when Dad told me to bring the toolbox back to the house - he wanted it out of the way in case the shack exploded. (He really said that).

I envisioned some Walkeresque thing where I'd dive out of the building seconds before a huge fireball went into the air, but luckily there were no explosions.

That fire never did melt the fuel line. So today, Dad gets one of our bikes, and sets off to pedal his way to the office(about 6 miles away). I wondered how he'd get down our driveway - a foot deep in snow, but he managed somehow.

Today, Mom suggested the bright idea of shovelling the snow off of our driveway - all 1,980 feet of it...
Yeah Mom. Brilliant.

Ditto. It couldn't have been any worse if our house burned down... no, that would've been a lot worse, actually.

8O We have a snowblower.

I have to go eat breakfast (probably oatmeal again), go to class, and then try to avoid sleeping through anything. And I have two exams today.

C$'s might be - ours ain't.

Ain't being an appropriate way to over-emphasize the phrase "is not".

And how are you on here then? I'd think you'd be an unwilling conscript out there right now.

Unfortunate, Saker. :( We have both snow and negative (Fahrenheit) temperatures.

I've got about 20 tons I'll be happy to send over - if you pay for shipping, of course.

Swap me. I have sun and 40 degree weather. I must not have done enough to appease the snow demons.
*goes off to find human sacrifice*

EDIT: heh, sorry Laz. Poor college student. Mail me a human sacrifice instead. The shipping will be cheaper.

I don't think I'd fit inside a postal box, Saker...

Neither would the goat that I'd send. It's pretty big.

I prefer to avoid the snow demons myself. Or at least avoid owing them.

Somehow I think Laz has plenty of choices for that.
