Too presupposition-driven, huh?
Presuppositions are challenging to work with. Everything is twisted or perceived in a way that suits the presuppositions a person holds, even if that is not their intent. It's presupposition that causes me to lose interest in debate. Ultimately the debates don't really go anyway for those already firmly grounded in what they believe. Of course, that wasn't why I began in the first place. I just wanted to be sure that the Bible was properly being represented for those not so firmly grounded.
Oh well. I'll end my rant with that.

I think you're entitled to a rant or two, Xian.
I remember reading something about a survey in which they asked people questions about subjects they didn't have knowledge about, and most of the people had a (often strongly-held) position about it. That's when I prefer to find more information.
