I'm in an uncaring mood toward public schools right now because of my own lack of education.
"Eighth grade grammer, Mom? Are you nuts?"
I doubt Dad will be happy with that career paper he assigned me to write. ....
If you have forgetful parents(like me), record every conversation where they tell you to do something, because they'll forget what they said and then yell at you for not doing what they think they said.

Eighth grade grammar? And what did you do for your career paper?
I take notes on my laptop in class-I can't remember what people say to me anyway. Apparently, I tend to be a kinesthetic and visual learner,

He said pick up to three careers to write about, so I picked "Optometrist" and "Army Ranger".
The latter I'm somewhat interested in, the former - not a bit. Dad had clarified when he assigned the paper that it didn't have to be a career I'm interested in - the paper was more to give me more practice writing career papers.
When I explained two weeks later that I didn't really want to become an optometrist, he blew up and said among other things that I should be writing this paper about a career I
wanted to be in.
I sighed, shrugged, nodded, and rolled my eyes. Haven't touched that paper since. I'll probably get in trouble for that.
Kinesthetic? I think I learn best through reading. Too bad I never read a book about looking away from your book every twenty minutes to avoid eyestrain.

*adjusts his super-powerful glasses*
(Wow - this post is reaching novel length. 8O ) *shuts up*

Kinesthetic is hands-on, physical interaction, etc. Taking notes on a computer, handling the chemistry stuff, etc. Visual is looking at the pictures, probably reading...and auditory is listening to lectures, talking, and so on. Or at least that's my understanding of it.
Speaking of novels....

Kinesthetic was easy to figure out, as the kin part is in Telekinetic, Pyrokinetic, Hydrokinetic, ect.

Actually, I looked it up on my computer dictionary.
Novels? -_- *hides* Chapter 50 will come as soon as I finish the funeral arrangements for the goat.
Gotta order flowers - call the funeral home - see if the casket's been finished yet - send out funeral notices to the relatives - call a caterer...

I think I'm the only person in my classes who can pronounce it, though.
One of my small group leaders at church can never remember what telepath means.

Now if you
were a telepath you could explain the definition to his mind every time he forgets... he probably wouldn't like that though.
Kinesthetics - unpronounceable? Well, that's public school for you. People can barely read - write - do math.
*makes yet another faulty generalization of public schooled kids* (Yeah, I'm not being serious there)

So does it just make a big "BOOM!" or something? Or do you play loud Elvis music to scare them away? *is clueless*

Speaking of novels, I'm thinking about contracting out the one I started on. I want to finish it, but I just don't have/spend the time necessary to do so. I have story arcs, but I have a hard time focusing and fleshing out the story arcs. I wish I could just download the stuff straight from my brain, because I could pull off writing the book if that were the case.
