I'm completely new to the game. Is there a class system, or do you just call people by their actions?

I killed and got killed in the wild. Oh well.

I got a bunch of good stuff I won't ever use, does either of you want it? give me a name, world, and meeting place and it's yours

Edit: "good" might be an exaggeration... it's not that bad though.

What decides which items I keep and which items I lose when I die?

value, you keep the top three items in you inventory that the game thinks is most valuable.

Edit, that's why you NEVER take gold to the wild, since it only has a value of 1 you lose all of it.

That's cool.

Of course, I always lose my tools because of that.

Whenever I go into the wild the onlything I carry (unless I'm playing my mage) is my weapon, amulet, and body.

Losing your stuff sounds bad. (this from the person who runs around Morrowind with a shortsword, longsword, two bows, and two daggers. I probably only need one bow.)

Me: Daedric Dai-Katana w/ Paralyze and Frost damage on it; Deadric Short Sword w/ Soultrap; "Ghost" Clothing (everything but robes); and a plethora of other enchanted items.

Me: War Hammer and pillaged clothing and basic armors.

Daedric shortsword, Wild Shardblade, whatever other dagger I feel like carrying-right now it's a poisoned Ancient silver dagger, Glass Firesword (trying to get long blade up a bit), Bonebiter Bow, Steel Crossbow, and Dark Brotherhood Armor.

Also enchanted amulets, rings, etc. Two invisibility ones, the one of 80% chameleon, a ring I just found in a tomb N of Balmora that has a constant effect of fortifying intelligence and willpower 10 pts each....

Oops, almost forgot my awsome "Bracers of Life". Part of my set of Ebony armor (I didn't know of anywhere w/ daedric in the regular xbox version), the right one had CE Restore Health and the Left CE Restore Fatigue. No more need to stop and wait/rest to restore them

I don't think that I like RuneScape any more. I managed to lose everything in the wilderness. At least I had extra items put into the bank.

Xian - do you have alot of imaginatioN?
I DO!!!! WHOO HOO HOO! I had a blast of it today!
Imagination is awesome. Back when I took English 101 in college, I wrote an essay about how imagination and daydreaming in moderation can actually be good for health. It was one of my more "out there" papers, but it still landed a perfect score.
Ditto. Imagination r0x0rz. I have thoughts running through my mind like a racecar driving down a cliff... Not a good metaphore...

Off and on? Ha! I have it all day! Not good for school... But yeah, daydreaming is my number one job. You know the "Bridge to [whatever it's called]"? Well, it's inspired me for a story.

Everybody I know says I have a big imagination... Coolness... Someday I hope to be like Hans Christian Andersen mixed with the guy who created Peter Pan and any other people like them...

GO IMAGINATION!!!!
